Micware Co., Ltd. (Nasdaq Global Market, Ticker: MWC; Headquarters: Kobe, Hyogo, Japan; Representative Director, President, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer: Kenji Narushima; “Micware”) is pleased to announce that PicLive® (“PicLive”), a map-based social networking service provided by Micware, has been adopted as the official app for World Cosplay Summit 2026 (Operated by WCS Inc.), to be held in Nagoya from July 31 to August 2, 2026.

PicLive is a service provided by Micware, with TOMODY Inc. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, Japan; Representative Director and Chief Executive Officer: Takeshi Tomimori; “TOMODY”) participating in its development and operation.
At the event, participants will be able to share photos, videos, and live streams from various locations by linking them to places on a map.
Even as multiple programs take place simultaneously across a wide area, participants will be able to more easily understand “what is happening where, right now,” helping them move around the venue and enjoy programs they cannot physically attend.

■Creating the “Now” of World Cosplay Summit Together with Participants
PicLive is a map-based social networking service that allows participants themselves to share what is happening at the venue, in addition to information provided by the organizer.
Cosplayers, photographers, visitors, and other participants can post photos, videos, and live streams, sharing what is happening at the event on a map.
As participant posts gather on the map, users can check the situation in different areas of the venue in connection with specific locations.

Ways to Enjoy the Event with PicLive®
Through PicLive, users can check the overall venue map and major spots, and view stages, photo areas, exhibitions, programs, and other points of interest.

・During the event

View photos, videos, and live streams posted by participants on the map, identify where the excitement is happening, and decide where to go next.

・When programs overlap

Enjoy programs remotely through posts and live streams shared by other participants, even when users cannot physically move to that location.

・When users want to share discoveries

Share scenes, programs, and moments encountered at the venue through photos, videos, and live streams while respecting photography and posting rules.

・After the event

Look back on photos and videos posted from across the venue and enjoy memories of World Cosplay Summit, including places users were unable to visit.

■Comment from Kenji Narushima, Representative Director, President, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Micware Co., Ltd.
PicLive is a map-based social networking service that enables participants to share what is happening in the moment, based on location.
World Cosplay Summit, where diverse programs take place simultaneously across a wide area, is one of the events where users can most strongly experience PicLive’s value of discovering and sharing the “now” of a place.
We will work to realize a new event experience in which participants from around the world share photos, videos, and live streams from their own perspectives, spreading the excitement of the entire venue across the map.

■Comment from Takeshi Tomimori, Representative Director and Chief Executive Officer of TOMODY Inc.
TOMODY Inc. has developed technologies and services using live video with the aim of making all experiences more accessible.
At events such as World Cosplay Summit, where attractive programs are held simultaneously across a large venue, there are limits to what participants can see in person.
Through PicLive, participants will be able to share the fun of the place where they are and feel the excitement of places they cannot visit in real time. Through development and operation, we will support a new way of enjoying events that goes beyond the boundary between on-site and online experiences.

■Comment from Tokumaru Oguri, Representative Director and CEO of WCS Inc.
World Cosplay Summit is an event where cosplayers and fans from around the world interact throughout the city of Nagoya.
As the number of venues and programs expands, the ways to enjoy the event also increase, but participants cannot visit every location or experience every program held at the same time.
Through PicLive, we hope participants will share the attractions and excitement they discover at the venue, creating a new way to enjoy World Cosplay Summit that is not limited to the place where they currently are.
We will deliver the excitement of World Cosplay Summit more broadly and deeply, both to those on site and to those who cannot attend in person.

■About PicLive®
PicLive is a map-based social networking service focused on “place” and “time.”
Live streams, photos, and videos captured by users around the world are displayed on a map, allowing users to search for and view the “now” of places they are interested in.
While conventional social networking services often help users find information based on people or keywords, PicLive is characterized by allowing users to search the map to see what is happening at a particular location right now.
It enables real-time information shared by people at specific locations, such as event venues, tourist destinations, and local gatherings, to be shared with people in other places.
