We, MICWARE CO., LTD. (Headquarters: Kobe, Hyogo, Japan; President and Chairman: Kenji Narushima, "MICWARE") has developed and released a logistics IoT system called "Wariate-kun" ("Wariate-kun"), which consistently supports order receipt, delivery planning, and vehicle dynamics management in the logistics industry.

In the logistics industry, there are such problems:
・Information is mainly transmitted by telephone, FAX, etc., and information is stored on paper and not updated, so efficiency has not been improved.
・Many logistics systems require a huge initial investment, such as the purchase of specialized terminals, and are difficult to implement due to the large economic burden.
In response to these issues, MICWARE has been developed a logistics system, "Wariate-kun", which is easy for transportation companies to introduce and for personnel in charge to use.

All functions of "Wariate-kun" can be operated via a web browser without installing any dedicated software on the office PC.
In addition, by installing a communication terminal utilizing LPWA technology (*) on the vehicle side, vehicle location information can be acquired and collected inexpensively and in real time.
*LPWA = Low Power Wide Area
"Wariate-kun" uses cellular LPWA (LTE-M, Cat. M1), one of the LPWA standards.

■Main functions that can be achieved with "Wariate-kun"

・Delivery Status Display
Displays location information from a communication terminal mounted on the vehicle in near real time (*) on the screen.
*Delay of 1 to 2 minutes may occur.

・Automatic daily report generation
Based on the location information from the communication terminal installed in the vehicle, "Wariate-kun" determines where the vehicle has stopped, automatically creates a travel section, and automatically generates a daily report along with location information.

・Reads FAX slips and creates orders
FAX slips sent by the client are imported into the PC, and "Wariate-kun" reads them at once and creates the order automatically without typing by using high-precision OCR technology. *The slips are standard slips and must be set in advance.

・Easy-to-understand visually-intuitive vehicle dispatch plans
Easy dispatch of cars with a mouse click based on the created order data, and can handle evening loading and sudden changes in delivery plans.

・Aggregation and analysis of work hours
Analyze data based on legal regulations of work hours.
Contributes to driver load balancing by visualization of data.

・Notification to drivers depending on the circumstances
When a delivery plan is changed, the driver is notified of the change from the "Wariate-kun" screen to his/her smartphone.

We can also customize "Wariate-kun" to fit each company's environment, taking into consideration the integration with existing systems.
FUJIWARA LOGISTICS CO., LTD. (Head office: Osaka City, Osaka; President: Teruyuki Fujiwara) has already adopted and is using "Wariate-kun".

MICWARE will strive to contribute to addressing the "Logistics 2024 Issue" by providing "Wariate-kun" to promote digitization and paperless operations of transportation companies and improve their business efficiency.
